Bob Cooper
Bob Cooper's first pamphlet was published by Outposts in 1977. His last one, The Ideal Overcoat, was published by WardWood in 2012. He once won five pamphlet competitions in six years: when he was being introduced before reading at Aldeburgh, Michael Laskey said winning one was significant but winning five was obscene.
He has a previous collection, All We Know Is All We See, (Arrowhead, 2012). Over the years, his poetry has been widely published in magazines and anthologies and has won many prizes. He has read at multiple venues and festivals throughout the UK. Everyone Turns is his second collection.
Bob is a Methodist Minister and, before he retired, taught Creative Writing, mainly in Adult Education, for over twenty years. He lives in Birmingham.
